Wildlife Camp is situated on land owned by Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia (WECSZ). We operate under their auspices and proudly donate a considerable portion of funds generated by your stay with us to the WECSZ through the lease fee that we pay, which in return supports conservation education efforts in the Luangwa Valley and Zambia.
Since 1992 Wildlife Camp has been giving travelers from all over the world the chance to experience the unrivaled splendors of South Luangwa National Park. We don’t do luxury – we do the bush along with a comfortable bed, fantastic food and some of the best safari guides in Zambia. Accommodation is in rustic en- suite chaltes or a tent in the tented camp. Alternatively guests can make use of the well appointed camp site. Self catering options are also available.
Wildlife Camp offers various options to suit the needs of each guest. Our full-board option is the most popular and allow guests to sit back and worry about nothing except maybe whether their camera batteries are charged for the next safari.
We also offer overnight walking safaris to our bush-camp.
As there are no fences between us and the park, we have animals roaming in and around the camp. Our qualified Zambian guides lead all our game drives and walking safaris, and focus on experiencing the game and park in its natural state.
Wildlife Camp is one of the best known camps in what we like to refer to as “the valley.” Nestled in along the Luangwa River and a lagoon, the camp is shaded by majestic trees and often visited by wild animals – big and small. Wildlife Camp is owner run, family friendly and full of character. Our service is second to none. In short – it’s a good old fashioned safari camp!
Rates range from $35 for self catering to $250 for a full board option.
